- NSAID gastroprotection
- Zollinger-Ellison
Dosing
- Adult
- 20–40 mg OD (morning before food)
- Paediatric
- 1–11 years: 10 mg OD; ≥ 12: 20 mg OD

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to PPIs
Side effects
- Hypomagnesaemia (long-term)
- C. diff risk
- Bone fracture risk (long-term high dose)
- Headache
Monitoring
- Magnesium levels if long-term use
- Review need at 4–8 weeks
